BASIS OF HUGS
The Story of our Project Logo – - the Bee. The bee is a hard working insect, constantly on the look out for nectar. It exhibits ingenuity, creativity, and hard work. It turns this nectar into a delicious honey which is loved by all with so many purposes. The bee not only works hard, but overcomes so many adversities on a daily basis never giving up. The individual beneficiaries at HUGS, a REDS initiative , are similar to that of the bee. They are constantly working with their nectar to turn it into ‘honey’. Their honey is in the form of toys (soft and wooden), but is also loved by people of all ages. Faced with many adversities, they never give up hope, and continue to make unique toys of high quality. The team at REDS (060 – 941 – NPO) offers their bees Hope, Upliftment, Growth and Support. This allows the bees to grow in skills (both in business and creative), and personal growth. All the HUGS projects instill creativity and ingenuity, as well as offering a great final product.
