Enterprise Development (ED)
We believe that our ED initiatives
- must be at grassroots and micro business levels, as it is at this level people have been and still are, the most vulnerable and in need of assistance
- must have realistic ‘final outcomes’
- Our point: Sustainability:
Socio Economic Development (SED)
We believe that our SED initiatives
- Should have a practical factor as well as a charitable one.
- Should be with the specific objective of facilitating sustainable access to the economy for those beneficiaries”. A sure way of helping people out of poverty is teaching them relevant skills that can be used to gain employment and sustainability. In other words skills that are relevant; and in need, and this brings us to education. People educated with relevant skills can look forward to better futures with sustainability as their goal. In the final analysis, “educating our youth is the key to our nation’s future“. Without a good school education, being trained for relevant skills and tertiary education when school in completed becomes a non-achievable wish.
- Our point: Aiming for Sustainability
